Fundraising Rewards for Race Participants

Your first step is to reach out to as many people as possible and ask them to support your efforts. Since there are millions who have been treated for breast cancer, and many others who have been touched by the experience of friends and loved ones, it's easy to find people who want to support your effort with a donation.

You might feel a bit intimidated asking people for money if this is your first fundraising event - or even if it's not. Raising money actually isn't as hard as you might think. The main reason anyone donates to the Joy to Life Foundation is because someone like you asked them to!

Here's how to get started:

Each person who registers to participate in the Montgomery Half Marathon will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to their personal fundraising web page.

Step 1 - Login to your ACTIVE account with the link you received in your confirmation email.

Step 2 - Follow the simply instructions to Create Campaign Pages. Upload a personal photo and add your own text.

Step 3 - Save your changes and click on the web link at the top to view your site.

Step 4 - Copy your website link into an email to family and friends to invite their support of the Joy to Life Foundation as part of your participation in the Montgomery Half Marathon.

To say THANK YOU for your support, the Joy to Life Foundation wants to reward the Half Marathon participants for their fundraising efforts.

Raise $225 - $499......receive an Apple Store gift card for $25
Raise $500 - $749......receive an Apple Store gift card for $50
Raise $750 - $999......receive an Apple Store gift card for $75
Raise $1000-$1499.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $100
Raise $1500-$1999.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $150
Raise $2000-$2499.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $200
Raise $2500-$2999.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $250
Raise $3000-$3499.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $300
Raise $3500-$3999.....receive an Apple Store gift card for $350
