PRAY IN PINK WEEKEND - October 18 - 20, 2013

Pray in Pink is an opportunity for area houses of worship (churches, synagogues, and mosques) and any groups or organizations to honor breast cancer survivors and to provide life-saving information about breast cancer to their congregants during the month of October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pray in Pink Weekend for 2013 is October 18 - 20, HOWEVER, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month you can plan to celebrate anytime during the month of October.

Participating groups are encouraged to make a day or weekend in October a celebration of survivors and co-survivors by hosting a special luncheon for survivors, encouraging attendees to wear pink clothes or by inviting survivors to speak about their experiences. Programming ideas/suggestions and educational information is available as part of a FREE Pray in Pink 15-page downloadable packet to all who register to participate.
