Montgomery Home & Garden Show - January 27 - 29

The Joy to Life Foundation has been given the opportunity to participate at the Montgomery Home and Garden Show on January 27-29, 2012 and we need your help! We are in need of 20 volunteers. (ages 18 and older, please)

6 VOLUNTEERS (men preferred)
Set-Up: Wednesday, January 25, 2012 - 3-6PM
Take-Down: Sunday, January 29, 2012 - 5-7PM

Volunteers willing to help with set-up and take-down should be ready for some lifting and manual labor. You will be helping us set up the 20'x 30' Joy to Life tent and bring in tables, chairs, a few boxes and the Pink Carts from a loading dock into the main venue area.

14 VOLUNTEERS (2 per shift)
Volunteers are needed to handle the donation sales of our Joy to Life Pink Carts (96-gallon trash cans), t-shirts and hats during the Home and Garden Show. Volunteers should be comfortable handling cash and checks, making change, writing hand receipts and accepting credit card sales. Volunteers should also feel comfortable using a laptop computer for some sales transactions as necessary.

We are requesting two volunteers per shift. (3-hour shift) If you are interested in working more than one shift in the same day or multiple shifts on different days, please let us know!

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27 (2.5 hours per shift)
2:00-4:30 PM
4:30-7:00 PM

SATURDAY, JANUARY 28 (3 hours per shift)
10:00 AM-1:00 PM
1:00-4:00 PM
4:00-7:00 PM

SUNDAY, JANUARY 29 (3 hours per shift)
11:00 AM-2:00 PM
2:00-5:00 PM

The specific details on parking, meeting for set-up/take-down, as well as checking into the Home and Garden show as a JTL representative will be sent to each Volunteer in the week prior to the event.
