Promoting Early Detection
and Breast Cancer Awareness

Who we are

The Joy to Life Foundation is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide free mammograms and other breast cancer screenings when necessary to medically underserved women in Alabama, build breast cancer awareness among all Alabamians, and provide overall health and well-being, education, and support throughout the state.

There are thousands of women in the medically underserved community who need mammograms. Tragically, women die each year because they do not have the resources for early detection and cannot afford the necessary screening that they deserve. This is why the Blondheims created the Joy to Life Foundation. "If we can reach these women early enough, lives can be saved," states Joy Blondheim.
